It is only fair to point out that Strouts Point is not a tourist attraction. We do not have swimming pools, barbecue pits or playgrounds. We do have one of the most beautiful locations in Maine. The Harraseeket River is sheltered from the prevailing summer breezes and is a great harbor in a storm. From our docks, you look out at the historic village of South Freeport on the immediate shore, and Wolf Neck Woods State Park on the opposite shore. If you want to shop, L. L. Bean offers shuttle service to their flagship store two miles down the road in Freeport.

We sell gas, diesel fuel and ice. Our dockstore is equipped with basic supplies, and we can order anything you need. Space is limited, so call ahead.
